THE PROCESS
Quenching is a combination of hardening and tempering of steels in order to achieve both a high strength and good toughness properties.
The aim is to combine the hardness and elasticity of the materials as best as possible.
SUITABLE MATERIALS
The best steels for quenching are the so-called quenching steels.
