THE PROCESS

Oxidising metal surfaces is referred to as anodising. Only aluminium, which is capable of being anodised and has a low silicon and iron content, can be used in the process. An extremely hard, scratch-resistance surface is produced. Unlike other finishing processes, no foreign material is used. The metallic character of the aluminium remains intact whilst achieving effective corrosion protection.

The colour of the material can be changed at request. The colour is not applied to the surface, but is part of the anodic coating providing it with excellent protection against abrasion and chemical influences.

BENEFITS

- effective protection against corrosion (also for external applications)

- very hard, scratch-resistant surface

- the anodic coating does not conduct electricity

- colour can be selected
